Bert and Donna Houle bought the original 17 acres of land back in 1978 with the vision of creating a family friendly campground.  With their son Greg's assistance, a dump truck and a backhoe,  they developed the "Old Section" slowly over the next five years.  The campground officially opened in 1983 with only a handful of sites.  Greg's house and an additional 7 acres was purchased around 1997 along  and the "New Section" was developed for seasonal trailers only.  Daughters Sue and Lori are now managing the campground along with their husbands Rob and George.  The grandchildren pitch in as their schedules allow.  The family's goal is to provide a friendly and well maintained vacation experience for everyone who visits.
